Few of us would talk to our friends the way we talk to ourselves. Learn to respect, nourish and care for yourself in more loving, supportive ways. Jane Baraz has been practicing meditation since 1976 and served on the Board of Directors at Spirit Rock for eight years. She currently leads Awakening Joy workshops internationally and teaches MBSR.

The Wild Ones
Organized by Tim Buckwalter of NIAD Art Center

“The Wild Ones,” a group exhibition featuring work from more than 15 adult artists with disabilities who create at the NIAD Art Center in Richmond, is all about color. The artists at NIAD offer a myriad of vibrant colored abstractions and semi-figurative works.

The show includes art by Adrienne Olmedo, Raquel Charles, Sylvia Fragoso, Elena Rossi, Phyllis Carr, Arista Dawson, Felecia Griffin, Darlene Farr, Heather Edgar, Shirley How, Karen May, Shana Harper, Sara Malpass, Lisa Blevens, Raven Harper and Deatra Colbert.

The show runs from July 2 through October 30, 2014 at the Women's Cancer Resource Center.
