Rapidly expanding research reveals that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, less anxiety, depression, and stress. Self-compassion will help with good maintenance of healthy habits such as diet, exercise and satisfying interpersonal relationships.
This 8 week course along with one on-site retreat which will take place on Tuesday Feb. 13th from 2:30 to 6:30, will be based on the groundbreaking research of Kristen Neff and the clinical research of Christopher Germer. Their research teaches the core principles and practices which will enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.
