Creating Your Perfect Mandala for Healing.

Join artist Ruth Block, author of,  A Year of Sunday’s: The Mandala as An Artist’s Portal.

These Summer workshops will involve demonstrations of specific techniques, guided imagery to discover your own personal symbols, and time to ‘co-create’ a healing mandala from your ‘higher self’/’deeper purpose’ for self-healing, for a loved one, or for the planet or planetary consciousness. Please come on time if possible so as not to interrupt the visualization/meditation experience and demos. 

 Creating a Healing Mandala Part I, II, III: There will be a demonstration on how to create luminosity using white pencil on a black background,using luscious watercolor techniques and colored pencils/or watercolor pencils. Participants will go deeper into their inner wisdom and vision, and then emerge to create these simple, yet profoundly powerful healing mandalas.Please come on time if possible so as not to interrupt the visualization/meditation experience and demos. We will discuss how to source the best ingredients and cooking tools for making all different types of broths. We will explore variations (herbs, spices and more) to enhance the immune boosting benefits and the flavor profiles of your broths.

There will be a step by step demonstration on how to make a delicious pot of bone broth. There will be a tasting of these gluten and dairy free broths.

Sandy Siegal is a certified nutrition consultant and traditional foods cook. She studied holistic nutrition at Bauman College in Berkeley with a focus on creating delicious, sustainable, nutrient dense food for everyone. Everyone welcome. Registration required.

In this class, with clinical herbalist, Tracey Brieger, we will learn how to make an easy, potent and delicious elderberry immune syrup. (Multi-purpose) EmBODIED Storytelling: Body Positive Movement & Meditation

This is a special restorative workshop which will include dance,journaling and meditation. We will explore our own healing stories and the healing of our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical bodies. Please come wearing clothing that you can move about freely and we will be barefoot but if you cannot be barefoot please wear soft soled shoes.

This one hour workshop will include:

* A Gently Yogic Warm Up * A Guided Meditation and Journaling * Choreography & Music * A Closing Ritual
