(MPR) Altered Altoid Boxes with Lynn Richards
Apr 13 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Come for an all day workshop (or stay as long as you like) making special small keepsake tin boxes.

There will be all kinds of miniature stuff to use in making your boxes: faux fauna and flora, shells, stones, beads, watch parts, mirrors, fabrics, postage stamps, washi tapes, papers, chopped up jewelry and lots more. The extended hours will give you time to make one or more unique creations that can be used to store very small stuff or serve as special tribute boxes for loved ones.

No experience is necessary – just a desire to let your imagination and creativity loose. Bring your lunch and some snacks to share.

Over the past ten years, Lynn and her art partner, Audrey Spector, have brought weekly art sessions to many women over the years.  Women who have been homeless and women who are recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.  Lynn has discovered how making art communally has the potential to bring joy and a sense of healing.

Everyone welcome. Registration required.
