The JanRae Community Art Gallery started showing the work of local artists in 1997. The gallery was named after Jan Hart-Schuyers and Rae Louise Hayward, the co-founders of The Art of Living Black (TAOLB).
Hundreds of established and emerging artists have shown their work in the gallery, which winds throughout the WCRC building.
There are usually four art shows each year. Each show has an artist reception with refreshments and live music. Art shows are announced on this web-page, in the quarterly printed calendar and in the monthly e-newsletter.
