IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN THE FUN!
Swim a Mile for Women with Cancer
This year we hold our eight annual swim! Registration is available online at www.wcrc.org. This year's swim will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, 2003 from 10 am to 5 pm at the lovely outdoor pool at Mills College in Oakland. This is a non-competitive event for all ages and ability levels – you may swim one mile or one lap. You can also come by and pick up the brochure/ registration form or we can mail them to you.

Last week www.breastcancer.org held an Ask-the-Expert Online Conference and talked about treatment and quality of life issues related to advanced (metastatic) breast cancer.

Lesbian Health Salon Series Announced by the Lesbian Health Research Center
New Salon Series Brings Lesbian Health Information into the Community
Each Salon in the series will include a meet and mingle hour followed by an informal, interactive discussion on a selected topic led by LHRC medical and research leaders. There is no charge to attend. At each event the question of how lesbian health differs from women's health in general will be briefly addressed. Timeframe for each Salon is 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
