Women Leaders Sought
WCRC is seeking leaders for its volunteer Board of Directors.
If terms like general ledger, budget allocations and fund
accounting make your heart sing -- have we got a job for
you! Our greatest need now is for a financial expert to
assume the role of Treasurer of the Board. We actively recruit
for Board members and other key volunteer positions to suppor
the work of WCRC. We especially seek women of color, women
from the LBT communities, and those who have a history of
cancer. Please contact our executive director, Mary Tunison,
if you would like to know more: mary@wcrc.org.

studying cellular metabolism and cellular oxidant stress
for ten years. She will be discussing the history of green
tea, the different types of teas, and the effect of decaffeination
on antioxidant content. She will also be highlighting some
of the latest evidence showing that green tea contains potent
antioxidants that strengthen the immune response which may
in turn lower ones chances of developing certain types
of cancer. Participants will have a chance to ask questions
and sample an array of green teas afterward.
