Women's Cancer Resource Center News
September 2007
Dear Friends,
There are many ways you can support the Women's Cancer Resource Center - by volunteering, donating, attending events and telling your family and friends about the services we provide.
Possibly the most challenging and rewarding way of supporting the center is by serving on the Board of Directors. Our Board currently includes ten highly talented and dedicated women who represent the communities we serve, lead our fundraising efforts and offer an extensive array of professional expertise to the Center - financial, legal, human resources, marketing and communications and social services.
This month we welcome two new Board members, Lovisa Brown and Sheila Head. Both have served for the past six months on our Development Committee.
Our Board continues to seek individuals to join in the work we do to advance the mission and financial well being of the Women's Cancer Resource Center . We especially need someone with financial expertise and leadership ability for our Finance Committee.
If you are interested or have a friend or colleague who might be interested in board service, please review the job description (doc) and contact me for an interview.
