How the Money Is Spent
The Women’s Cancer Resource Center has served as an advocate for women with cancer and their friends and families since 1986. In the last 24 years, thousands of women have benefited from the services offered through the Center. WCRC has a breadth and depth of personalized services, resources and information that support the local community, including information on comprehensive complementary and alternative treatments for cancer. WCRC supports a women’s right to make her own informed decisions. The Center provides information, resources, support services, and advocacy for all women with cancer, focusing on women of color, as well as women from low-income communities and/or those who lack access to quality health care. All programs and services at WCRC are free and culturally appropriate.
