Help change the course of cancer in your community. Volunteers play an essential role in WCRC’s mission to provide information, resources and emotional and practical support to women at risk for and diagnosed with cancer.
If you decide you'd like to volunteer with WCRC, we'll ask you to complete a volunteer application and then attend orientation. You will learn about who we are, the services volunteers provide and requirements for volunteering.
Once you've completed orientation, you will participate in our day-long volunteer training. It is led by cancer experts, community partners and staff and covers the biology and psychosocial impact of cancer, client and volunteer panel discussions, cultural humility, boundaries, confidentiality, self-care and community resources.
