Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an active 8-week course that blends guided meditation, body awareness, gentle yoga, and group discussion to reduce physical and psychological distress, while building resilience, balance, and peace of mind. These techniques cultivate an awareness of thoughts, actions, and motivations to improve oneÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s ability to effectively manage stress, pain, and illness.
