Gentle Yoga Sunday with Kelly Keller (Online)

Ruby’s In Town Band Dance Zoom Room! A Fundraiser for WCRC

Come listen and dance to tunes by the original artists on Ruby’s in Town playlist, DJ-ed by its lead singer, Andrea Prichett. Ruby band members and other members of the WCRC community will be dancing along with you!

Ruby’s in Town plays R&B, old soul, funk and even a little disco. It’s the stuff that makes you want to get up and dance! The band includes many seasoned vets in the Bay Area music scene, and recent appearances have included Freight & Salvage and The Terrace Room at the Lake Merritt Hotel.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the FREE services provided by WCRC. During this shelter-in-place, WCRC has eliminated our face-to-face services and implemented an entirely new program delivery model, at the same time that demand for our services has increased.

Mindful Tapping Meditation with Melbra Watts (Online)

Are you trying to reduce your stress? Consider tapping it out! Participants will learn an easy tapping sequence of acupressure points and be guided in tapping through layers of stress and into greater health and wellbeing. For women who have/had cancer and those women who are cancer care supporters!

Melbra Watts is an energy medicine health coach she provides coaching and training in wellness and holistic development to individuals and groups to help reduce stress, improve performance and lower healthcare costs.

This class is designed for anyone interested in learning how yoga can support those going through and/or recovering from their cancer journey.

These supportive practices’ will assist in creating ease and comfort in the body, with focus on lymph distribution & immune and nervous system support.

We will move slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful.

Classes are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students.

(*Recommend Props: blankets, pillows, yoga blocks)

“My intention is to make yoga accessible to all. Especially to those that may think yoga isn’t for them and/or may be intimidated about where and how to start.”
