WCRC Community Dialogue: How to Explain Cancer to a Child
Friday, March 30, 2018, 11 AM to 1 PM
Join Children’s book Author, Jessica Sliwerski, as she reads from her book, “Cancer Hates Kisses”. There will be a thoughtful discussion on a sensitive topic that many people of both younger and older children struggle with during their Cancer journey.
Jessica Sliwerski will lead the community dialogue on how to explain cancer to our children. There will be an art activity offered in both Spanish and English for the children after the book reading.
Parents/Grand-parents/Aunts, Uncles and Legal Guardians are encouraged to bring their children to this community dialogue.
