Whether you want to share your memoir writing with your family, publish a memoir or keep the writing for self-exploration, you’ll discover new inner landscapes, document significant memories of people, pets and places and relive the joys and sorrows of your life on this planet. The examined life promotes your evolution, deepens your humanity and sense of belonging.

Memoir Writing for Beginners is reflective, fun, and fulfilling. Suze offers inspiring quotes, in class writing prompts, mini-inspirational lectures and a chance to share your story with your classmates. Writing and Sharing your memoir stories grows compassion and kindness for yourself and helps you to gain new perspectives and expand your soul.

Our classes and workshops are available to women and non-binary individuals, who are Alameda or Contra Costa County residents, and who either have/had cancer, or who are/have been a support person for someone with cancer.
