Join us for “Dance with Your Hands,” a gentle, online Zoom workshop that combines the expressive hand gestures of Bharatanatyam (classical Indian dance) with calming breathing exercises and moving meditations. Whether seated, reclined, or standing, participants will explore the joy of movement in a way that is accessible and adaptable. Together, we’ll learn choreographed sequences to uplifting music and co-create a collaborative piece over time. This workshop is perfect for anyone seeking a fun, low-impact way to stay active, connect with their body, and express themselves through dance. No prior experience is necessary!

Our classes and workshops are available to women and non-binary individuals, who are Alameda or Contra Costa County residents, and who either have/had cancer, or who are/have been a support person for someone with cancer.
