Holistic Modalities with Andrea Nguyen (V)

November 19 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join Akhila Health facilitator Andrea Nguyen for an experiential workshop series exploring different pathways to holistic wellbeing. Across six sessions, we’ll explore how mindfulness, self-love, spirituality, grief, guided imagery, and financial wellness can influence the way we relate to ourselves, our bodies, our emotions, and our everyday lives. Each workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and try accessible mind-body practices in a supportive and welcoming environment. The sessions are designed to encourage curiosity and self-awareness rather than perfection or expertise. Come as you are—no prior experience is required.

Exploring Self-Love & Compassion

What would it look like to meet yourself with greater kindness? This session explores self-love and compassion through gentle self-care and mind-body practices. We’ll consider how we can nurture our relationship with ourselves and cultivate compassion, particularly during moments when we may feel overwhelmed, depleted, or self-critical.

Exploring Mindfulness & Health

Mindfulness offers an opportunity to become more aware of our thoughts, emotions, and experiences in the present moment. Together, we’ll explore the relationship between mindset, stress, and wellbeing while practicing simple ways to cultivate greater awareness, presence, and ease.

Exploring Spirituality

Spirituality can take many forms and can offer a sense of meaning, grounding, connection, or perspective. This session invites you to reflect on what spirituality means to you while exploring how spiritual and mind-body practices can support wellbeing across mind, body, and spirit.

Exploring Financial Wellness

Financial concerns can affect more than our finances—they can influence our emotions, thoughts, relationships, and sense of security. This session creates a supportive space to explore our experiences with financial stress and discover mind-body practices that can help us approach these concerns with greater awareness, steadiness, and self-compassion.

Exploring the Edges of Grief

Grief is a deeply human experience that can affect us in ways we may not always expect. This session offers a gentle opportunity to explore how grief can show up in the body, mind, and emotions, while introducing mind-body practices that can support self-awareness and compassion as we navigate loss and change.

Exploring Guided Imagery

Guided imagery uses imagination and visualization as a pathway to reflection, relaxation, and self-awareness. In this experiential session, we’ll explore guided imagery as a meditative practice and discover how visualization can create moments of calm, grounding, and connection.
