Melodious Empowerment is oriented towards music creation and community formation through melody and harmony. Peace, joy, and mental restoration is commonly experienced through the beautiful art of music.

Together, we will provide a platform where individuals can create and experience music within a supportive, kind, and thoughtful community. Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is required. Join us for informative slideshows, learning about different eras of music, recital, and listening & discussing specific pieces. Through the art of vocal, instrumental, and community composition, Melodious Empowerment will provide a safe space to express musical and artistic creativity.

Our classes and workshops are available to women and non-binary individuals, who are Alameda or Contra Costa County residents, and who either have/had cancer, or who are/have been a support person for someone with cancer.
