Now What? A Writing Circle for Cancer Survivors with Meesha Halm (V)

July 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Treatment is over. You’re declared “cancer-free.” But you’re not the same person you were before, and suddenly your support system has disappeared. The appointments have stopped. The check-ins have ended. Now what?

This 6-session virtual circle is for survivors 1-2 years post-treatment navigating the questions no one else is asking: Who am I now? What matters? What do I do with this life I fought so hard to keep?

Through Wild Writing™, you’ll explore the confusion, fear, grief, and possibility of survivorship in a safe space with others who understand. No critique, no pressure to have it figured out.

Facilitated by Meesha Halm, writer, book coach, and founder of Free-Range Writing Women’s Circles. Meesha understands this struggle intimately — as a Stage 3 colon cancer survivor, she’s learned to transform illness into breakthrough writing. She creates brave, judgment-free spaces where writers drop perfection and get real on the page.

Our classes and workshops are available to women and non-binary individuals, who are Alameda or Contra Costa County residents, and who either have/had cancer, or who are/have been a support person for someone with cancer.
