This workshop is designed for couples navigating the challenges of intimacy and connection during / after a cancer healing journey. In a safe, non-sexual environment, you’ll explore ways to have meaningful discussions about sex and intimacy, even when the stakes feel high. Eligibility: women or nonbinary individuals who have/had cancer (and who reside in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties), and their romantic partners (of any gender or residence).Together, you’ll:

• (Re)awaken your connection to non-sexual touch and pleasure, starting with yourself.
• Practice mindful, non-sexual touch to foster deeper connection with your partner.
• Learn a simple and powerful tool called Dyad Communication to navigate challenging conversations, including those about sexual intimacy.
• Practice the tool using low stakes, non-sexual topics in class.

Each couple will receive a workbook featuring Dyad communication exercises and additional prompts to continue your journey of connection and growth at home. This is an opportunity to nurture your relationship, strengthen your bond, and explore intimacy with compassion and curiosity.
