WCRC’s support group program offers specialized and safe environments where women and non-binary individuals with cancer can gather for support.
We offer 12 free counseling sessions for low income women, non-binary individuals, and caregivers who desire a safe place to discuss any issue related to cancer.
We provide cancer navigation, emotional support, social support, and education to Latina women in their own language and in support of their cultural values.
Sister to Sister
Sister to Sister offers safe and welcoming support to African American women, with support groups, educational and wellness workshops, and community outreach.
Classes and Workshops
Workshops and programs are offered to promote healthier living and survivorship and encourage creativity, movement, education, and activism.
The JanRae Community Art Gallery

The Faith Fancher Breast Cancer Fund provides one-time support to low-income people actively in treatment for breast cancer and living in Alameda or Contra Costa County. The Lindy Fund provides one-time support to low-income people actively in treatment for all other types of cancer, living in Alameda or Contra Costa County.
Our patient navigation program strives to reduce medical and treatment barriers via culturally-centered communication about a cancer diagnosis and treatment options; reduce loneliness through ongoing emotional support; and empower our clients to be advocates by working with their doctors and medical team.
