- Outreach Committee
- Pro-bono psychotherapy for low-income women
- Wellness workshop presenter/instructor
- On-call projects
Steps to Becoming a Volunteer
Complete the Volunteer Application
If you’d like to volunteer with WCRC, you first need to apply. Submit the online Volunteer Application, or complete the Volunteer Application (PDF) and return it to Audrey Shoji (firstname.lastname@example.org). Audrey will confirm receipt of your application and invite you to a Volunteer Orientation Session.
Attend a Volunteer Orientation Session
After applying, you must attend a Volunteer Orientation Session at WCRC where you’ll learn about us, the services volunteers provide, and volunteer requirements.

Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Participate in Volunteer Training
Following your Volunteer Application and Orientation (required), you may be invited to participate in our Volunteer General Training led by cancer experts, community partners, and staff. The training will discuss and explore the basic biology of cancer, active listening, cultural humility, boundaries, and confidentiality.
